I have been running TKO bearings for a while now in all my Vspecs. it became a habbit to just run the TKO ceramic bearing right off the bat, you dont want to risk the stock bearing skipping on the crank. once that happens its hard to slid a new bearing in its place.

i have 9 to 10 gallons on my stock Vspec with the TKO bearing, the bearing still feels awesome and i will use it when i rebuild my Vspec.

good stuff!
