Tires is another thing that ticks me off, one set of those stupid things is the same price as a real tire on my wifes real car
For filter oil just go to a local motorcycle/dirtbike shop, or e-bay, and buy some Maxima Fab-1.. Its in a spray can and is designed for dirtbike/ATV foam filters and the stuff works great.. I used to use it on my ATV filters when I was racing motocross and doing long 100 mile desert races and the stuff never failed me.. Its convenient because its in a good sized spray can and one can will last practically forever! Definitely better and 10x cheaper than any hobby made filter oil! The stuff is so tacky that once it dries on your filter, when you go to pick up the filter, it will make little blue stringies when you try to remove your fingers... Which also means, unlike a lot of other filter oils, the Maxima Fab-1 will not makes its way down into your carb or engine!

You would probably clip a pipe before you ever felt the difference between a balloon and a real shock boot. The balloons work great...i get 100 count for a buck. They are thinner than shock boots and i haven't seen where they limit anything.
