Default Stripped screws

Ive had this problem for a while now. i have 1 screw in my cooling head thats stripped.... how the heck am i supposed to get that one out?

then i have two that are stripped on the back plate (the really little ones)

can anyone help me with these?

For the screw in the head theres nothing you can do other than drill the cap off. Take out one of the other ones thats not stripped and match a drill bit to the size of the screw (not the cap). make sure the bit is just ever so slightly larger in diameter than the threads of the screw. Drill down through the center of the cap and as soon as it hits the threads the cap will pop off then when you get the head off you should have enough of the threads still exposed to be able to use some elbow greease and a pair of pliers to get it out. You may need to heat the threads of the now capless screw to get it to backout easier. For the back plate I would try to cut a slot in them with a dremel, heat them and get them out. If they are countersunk all the way drilling them out might be the only option just be careful not to go so deep as to have no threads to grip once the cap pops off. Hope this helps. keep us posted.

I have two words for you SCREW EXTRACTOR. This was one of the best tools I have ever bought They have a nice little set at Sears for like $25.00Worked on my V-Spec head screws perfectly.
