i have been running the Jammin engines since they came out and i like the JP1 or JP4 if its a very large track. i have heard that the 053 work resaly good but i have never tried it. BUT i would remomend the JP pipes because they are so durable. one hit from someone with alot of pipes out there and your stinger is bend in or the pipe has a giant dent. plus the JP pipes come with a spring pipe mount.

Buy the Dynamite 053, its hard coated, stronger, has a re-inforced stinger, and its cheeper. Try to get a double bent manifold with it like this ]

MSR 1001, MSR 1005, 086, JP4 all work awesome !!!! from there you can fine tune the powerband with header length...short header for top end, longe header for low end..... the 1001, 1005, 086 all sound extremely nasty !

My favorite pipe so far on the JPX engine is the Picco 069. Average to above average top end and gets there in a hurry. Way more bottom to mid than a Vspec. Stupid power in a truggy and probably more than most should have in a buggy. I'd like to try the 2046 but I heard it gives even more bottom end?

I have yet to try the 053 or 086 pipes. Those used to work really well on the Picco G1 XP engines.

JP-3 works everywhere for me. I cant drive this motor with a topend pipe, just destroys too much bottom SNAP for me & takes too long to rev up. I like to pull very hard as soon as the cars straight not when I'm already 1/2 way down the straight. What is your driving style? What part of the corner do you start pulling trigger & what are the jumps laid out like at your tracks & how long are your straights.

Trevor, a NR 086 would be my recommendation.

Thats odd...with a 086 the power is extremely explosive, from bottom to top..if anything a JP-3 makes the engine more manageable....

I just got this pipe because of the re-enforced stringer and hard coating. I like my JP2 and JP3 pipes too

I had one of Maxy's Jammin 21's and it was way more motor than any one ever needs. It had more bottom to mid than any motor I have ever driven. I ran it with several different pipes, but to me the 1005 had the most power over all and the Picco 2046 gave it the smoothest feel and made it the best on top.

For the money I don't think a better motor can be had.

Maximo, the explosive part is what I dont like. I couldent tune the motor to have the same snap right off idle as the JP3 & when it hit it was like a light switch at 1/3 to 1/2 way down the straight where all 4 tires would break loose.Felt like a early 80s dirt bike, not enough & then all of a sudden too much but after my brain needed it.JP3 gives it a tractor/four stroke feel right off idle & pulls what feels like a straight curve for power & is almost always enough for the straights around here average 120-150'. on the long straight at rev it could use another 15-20' of good pulling but the over rev the JP3 gives it is enough to stay with most motors till you are on the brakes at tracks with over 160' straights. I run tracks lately that are mostly tight turn go 3-5' then jump & repeat or sections of 5' 90deg turn then another 5' & another 90deg turn. Top end pipe felt like the split second it starts to pull hard is when you gotta hit the brakes & made me over shoot turns. I was able to overcome most of the feel by using 1.1 springs in a buggy but then clutch & bell life was too low, I like blued bells even less than blue balls. 086 might make more run time & lower lap times on long flowing tracks but aint got none of those within 2.5-3 hours drive.
