Default CVD Pins

I missed the article in RC Car that covered how to replace CVD pins with a chain tool. There was a follow up article about a company that makes a specific tool is how I know they covered this topic.

Will standard bicycle pins work in losi cvd's?

I've used music wire snipped to the right length before. I don't remember what diameter, just take your cvd to the shop an try em till you get one that fits right.
