Default JR servo horn..

I need a Team losi servo horn for my new JR servo coming in the mail, amain is out of the ones that say they are for JR. But when I looked at the dynamite horns, it says that the same horn will fit JR, Airtronics and KO. Does that mean that the JR, Airtronics and KO servos have the same spline?

Yes--i currently use a stock black airtronics horn on my jr 9100s for throttlr on my strr (main reason i went with jr servos was the spline as i had previously only used airtronics, so all my old horns would work, also my backups are airtronics so if i have to change a servo at the track i don;t have to worry about replacing the horn.

JR, KO and Airtronics are not the exact same spline but they are close enough companies fudged the horns so they would work. If the one you have coming is not made for the JR servos there is a good chance it won't work. I believe Losi is the only one making them precise enough that they won't interchange.

Well thx for letting me know... I'll have to test fit some at my LHS.

I went through this already. The Losi horn says its for JR, but they told my LHS they are the same as KO/Air, just different color. Also the JR ones were backorder from Losi when we checked last month. I fitted a Dynamite AL horn and its very snug. Everyone says the JR horns fit snug. After a few uses, its still nice and snug, but not as much. Feels very precise now after a few uses.

Good to know, I was told they were a bit different and may not work.

I was a bit skeptical too, but I decided to try the Dynamite KO/Air/Jr horn since I couldn't get the Losi one and it works fine. Its been in a truggy on a 9100T and no problems. Only thing, the Losi threading is standard and Dynamite is metric, so keep this in mind.
