Default what is the difference between 2.5 jato and a 2.5 rustler

i have a 2.5 rustler. i like it good car. i got a phone call of a friend selling his never used jato 2.5r. he wants 250 has a few things to go with it. he does take care of it he is 50 yrs old lol.

but my real question is what is the difference between the jato and rustler


i know the obivious. like the jato has the racing style engine.

any help would be appricated. thanks

The jato has a 2 speed transmission.

jato has sway bars, and larger shocks (same size as a revo). The drive train is more beefy and has a lower center of gravity. I've never owned a Jato, but I have put together 2 of them from spare parts and they definitly seem more durable than the rustler.
