I think either one is a good choice. I run the Hyper ST Pro and my brother runs a 8T and it's pretty close and they both seem to be durable. You will get your parts that have normal wear. The hyper st is a little easier to drive be cause it's a little heavier.

i own a losi truggy and i use to drive a rtr kyosho truggy st.
to me losi truggy is the best. i happen to test drive my friend hyper truggy too, it feel kinda heavy but stable, but again you may lose time in a technical track for such heavy weighted truggy.

get a losi truggy and i think you will not regret it. look at the race result and and get a losi truggy and you won't go wrong. hope this help , cheers

Default 8t

i have them both the 8t is wayyyyy more durable i spent alot of time with the hyper and love the handling but the damn thing is unreliable if your an agressive driver youl spend more time fixing the hyper!! thats not good while your in a race! the losi will be the better bet.. just my opinion.

I'd personally go with the 8t

Most of the ST drivers locally have switched from the Losi because they said they always broke, or had some mechanical or servo issue plagueing them, so the switched to the ST, and have been happier than ever...

Yes, and no...IMO it's too wide and forces the pipe to be angled to clear. The Kyosho (which I ran 2 of, and they both separated at the seam) which fit really well, but due to being unreliable for me, I went back to the stock tank. The Mugen tank will fit well, but darn $31.95 for a tank is kinda pricey, plus you'd have to use the Mugen posts and splashguard too..If it weren't for cost, I'd probably be running the Mugen tank.
