Best servos for 8th scale?

LOL, internet problems or what?
throttle servo doesnt need to be anything special, you can use cheaper ones for throttle/break. personally I use the spektrum z590 for throttle.
for steering youd want at least 200oz @ 6V
for steering Im currently using an airtronics 94359 servo for steering, its a 110$ servo.
just make sure you dont cheap out on the steering servo or you will really regret it.
if you dont agree with spending $100+ on a steering servo, try to find the one you want second hand, but make sure its not near the end of its life!
I bought a JR DS8711 servo, I think its one of the strongest you can get, Torque:347 oz/in @ 4.8V, 403 oz/in @ 6V, normally a 140$ servo... I got it off ebay for 37$ and it works perfectly.

Don't pussy foot around. Just the strongest & faster servo you can afford for both!
I like (and use) the Hitec 5995TG. (333oz @ .015") I'm probably going to give the new Hitec 7995TG a try too, when they are available in my new 808. I've been running the same two servos (T&S) in my (Losi) buggy for over 2 years now, and I race the %$#@ out of it...

Hands down the best value for for money and quality is the Ace DS1313 (+- $75) for steering on a buggy and if wanting a bit more oomph the DS1015 (+- $90).

Most everyone here will tell you to spend $100 on a steering servo for a buggy but its a waste. There is no logical reason to have that much torque in a 7lbish buggy with skinny wheels. I did a back to back to back comparison with a jr9000t and my hitec 5625, and there was no difference in performance.

hitec really?
i bought a HS 5625MG and HS 5645MG on wednesday. My intention was to use the 5625 as throttle and 5645 for steering.
Last night i put them on my buggy and test it. And guess what, the throttle one was okay but the steering could not center and can only turn to one way. I brought it to the shop just now and they said I have abused it. So no replacement but only repair and it takes one week. What the $%#@ ???
There is no way I will buy hitec again, ever.

+1 fpr Futaba. I sent 2 s9351's in for service. I got them back in a week and opened up to find 2 BRAND NEW servos. Now thats customer service.

for my 808 i will use a DS1015 for steering and Sanwa ERG-RZ/Airtronics 94362 with Al-heatsink on throttle. 125oz/in will be strong enough for braking and the speed (0.07sec/60°) is unbeaten.
