Default Racing A Jammin'

Anyone here race a Jammin'? I just recently bought one waiting for it to come in, and just wondering how they do in races, and if there is upgrades for parts that I should be looking at? Thanks guys.

We talking Truggy or Buggy?

I've been running the buggy since it came out.

VERY durable car; doesn't really *need* anything out of the box.

Biggest thing I added was a one piece engine mount.

The car does really well on most tracks right out of the box.

The king headz engine mount makes pulling the motor a no brainer. You don't have to hold the wrench at an angle and chance stripping the screw in a panic situation. Maintenance is easier.

thats what Ball end wrenches are for.. ...but yes removing the motor with the KH mount is a sinch...and it helps BIG time with chassy flex.

You are going to want the aluminum chassis braces. Doesn't matter who makes them, but there is a lot of chassis flex in the rtr, also get the "Z" brace for the CRT. After a while the cast steering knuckles will break, they hold well, but the CNC ones last forever. If you like to keep it clean, they have the mud guards that screw onto the front of the chassis and help alot.

One thing that I added was the "S" bend air filter tube from the Hyper 7 buggy so that the filter is away from the brake linkage.

I've raced my CRT for two years. The thing is a beast and is dependable also. The suspention has been upgraded with the addition of the Big Bore 16mm shocks. It handles plush compaired to when it had the 13mm.

Upgrades I did on mine, I have the pro kit so there is a difference between the RTR.

Titanium turnbuckles.
Steel screw kit
Swaybar <---depends on feel
Dragon Racing "C" hubs in front
Kingz Heads hubcarriers in the rear
High Speed servos (steering and break/throttle)

I'm waiting for the X2 to come out but I will be running my X1 until I get mine.
