8ight RTR servo upgrade recommendations
I posted a question earlier and was told best hopup I could do was the servos. So my question is can someone recommend what is best that is compatible with my system. I done searchs but can't seem to gets any results. Thanks for your opions. Like the best bang for durabilty/power and speed is x.

The Futaba S9451 for throttle and the Futaba S9351 or BLS9451 for steering. These are top of the line and we never have problems with them in our cars. We all run Losi 8ights as well.
Our LHS recommends them above all others as well.
You will definitly feel the difference.
Make sure your EPAs are right.

Ill reccomend the Futaba 9451 for throttle but the 9351 with its plastic gear imo dosent cut it for steering....i had 1 fail and i swapped it to throttle duties....for steering Ace 1015/1313 for buggy.....those would be my choices.

Anything with 130oz of torque or more will do. Hitec, JR, Futaba all work just fine.

There can only be one king. I've used substandard servo's in my rc's before, but until you actually experience the top grade servo's you have no idea how your truck is capable of running.
Two warnings-
#1- Your pocket is going to be about $230-$250 lighter to us these two servo's (which are different, look close)
#2- You will never drive any other servo in any vehicle ever again and enjoy it.
The "T" is 370 ounces of torque and the "S" has a .06 reaction time. Together they produce 550 ounces of torque with reaction times down in the hundredths.
Does it really matter? Yes it does. Oh what a difference.

IMO there's NO WAY Jr's 9000s IS Actually .06 seconds...the DS1015 is rated at .10 and its Significantly faster then the 9000S.....just like HP #'s...there's NO regulation on what a company can claim as for speed and Tq....there both great servo's...but i wont agree to the speed they claim....1015 hands down is the best steering servo money can buy.

No it is in no way like HP numbers, you're stepping into my field now as an E.E. Electronics are a whole different beast and yes this is a .06 speed servo..... quite damn impressive to say the least.

No its not....if Ace claims .10 and JR .06 Some 1 is blatently Lying....ANY 1 under the sun will say the Ace is faster then ANYthing they have wheeled before hand.

I too use the JR Z series and I have not looked back, excellent servo's, 3 year warranty, extremely fast and strong...what more do you want??

I'll agree with Integra. I started with the JR 9000S in the 8ight. I did ok for a long time. Then I started adding more vehicles and needed more servos. I decided to use the JR's in other vehicles and added the Ace 1015 to the line up for steering servos in the 1/8 vehicles. The response and overall feel of the vehicles was much improved over the JR's. So my servos in operation now are all ACE's. From 1/10 truck & buggy, to 1/10 gas truck, 1/8 buggy & truggy, to 1/8 dirt oval buggy.
I think with the ACE servos, the reason there is no warranty talk is because they don't fail. Parts will wear out, gears will strip, wires will get frayed but it will take many, many hits before this happens. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy could wear out 5 sets of gears before the electronics finally quit. Probably right on par with every other servo out there though if set up correctly.

The ace feels faster because it is over 200 ounces of torque. Of course it is going to pull the brake quicker because it is loading stronger. The quicker you pull the brake, the faster you can hit the gas. It doesn't mean it is faster, it just means it does what you need it to do faster. I never said the 9100s was the most powerful, it's only 160 ounces at it's very best.
I've heard very good things about the Ace and they look like great servo's, but I don't need much brake on my track because it is slick and I rarely even use the brakes so I get the response time out of the throttle side that JR claims. My DX3R is set to 34% on the brake + expo delay. That's the only reason I went with the JR 9100S since I needed only quick throttle response and very little brake so torque doesn't do anything for me. It's easy to see how someone who uses the brake can benefit from the Ace servo's 200+ oz brake capabilities since they'll stop quicker an can get back on the gas quicker.
Whatever works for you, use it. Every track is different. When it comes to the top end servo's, they are all faster than the human driving them anyway. Just depends on if you need a lot of brake torque or not since that will increase the response time if you can get stopped quicker.
