Hi Everyone,
I tried searching, but couldn't come up with anything. Does anyone know the spring rates for the Kyosho Big Bore Shock Springs, front and rear?
Thanks!

I believe its just going to be a cheaper version of the car we already have. No anodized parts or velvet shocks.

You really dont need the new rear shaft if you shim things right, shim from the inside of the hub.

For added safety if your running on large high jump tracks yes that would be a wise investment.

On my mp9 it popped out at 3 degree toe and camber 1 but at 3 on 5 and proper shimming no issues, use them till they wear out them switch to the new ones.

I would say the only items to consider for the mp9 are the new bushings radio posts and rear wing posts with the if408c diff boxex, other then that have yet to see something on the mp9 to break on abuse.

Always driver errors and not quality subject.

Will be racing at the prefemca and femca race in malaysia and will see what happens there that track got some massive jumps

Buggy Sport Info confused everyone. They now removed the words TKI from their site:

http://www.buggy-sport.info/include....ntent/news.php

Guess they realized that the current MP9 we have is in fact the full spec MP9 TKI.

How often are the plastic bushing in them wearing out? I see they sell replacements which indicates to me they might have a short lifespan.
I helped with developing the upper arms. The plastic bushings are so the allum. was,t riding on the pin. Replacments were offered because, when you take a hard shot to the front and snap a lower arm. the upper arm is allowed to be pushed back way futher than it is intended. sometimes this can smash the inner bushing and cause unwanted movement. 4 gallons on mine and no slop

Well Ive decided instead of going from AE to mugen Im going back to kyosho, with this new budget kit mp9. Ive been wondering why kyosho never offered a stripped down kit as they did with past infernos.
does anyone know when it can be pre ordered through kyosho america

yes , they are fiber - reinforced like someone mentioned earlier. You can see and feel it when compared to the gray bushings.

also, Kyosho does things a little different than most other companys. sometimes information is scarce, but if the part is an update, you can usually bank on it being improved.

The other part that is suggested is the updated front suspension plate. i think if439b "B" being the update. its thicker. i have heard some people say they have bent the original one from a crash.

My car has been reliable for me with the original parts. In 5 or 6 gallons, i had a nut backoff the steering knuckle, cuasing me to not finish a race. but updates can only help, and i'm more than happy they continue to improve the car.

Yes you can use the losi clutch but its best to use an ofna clutchbell as its 2 mm longer on the contact area. With the KH mount its centered perfectly. I ran it for a few tanks and it seems a little aggressive for me, I could also see an issue on certain tracks with the flywheel hitting as it does sit noticably lower.
