Default Best pipe for Novarossi N21B

I am currently running a Novarossi N21B with a Dynamite 086 pipe. I would like to get feedback on what is a good pipe for the N21B?

How does the JP3 compare to the Dynamite 086 pipe for the N21B?

Has anyone done any porting on the sleeve or modify the crank on a N21B. I recently did some basic porting on the sleeve and it seem to wake up the top end some. (only testing on street, so far).

If anyone has feedback on what is good sleeve or crank modifications for the N21B, please let me know. Include pictures if possible.

When I raced this motor, I used the nova 086, it worked great, didn't have the blistering top end like a v spec, but it was smooth and had lots of torque. I would use a JP4 instead of the JP3 though, that would give you more top end. Mine was the stock version too, not modded at all.

I haven't tried any other pipes yet but I'm really happy with my JP-2 right now. Power band is very smooth and linear. Fuel consumption is awesome as well, getting 9+ minutes a tank.

+1 on the JP-2 pipe. This pipe adds top end while still leaving enough low end power.

I have done some modding on the sleeve and crank myself. It did seem to open it up on the top end a bit though. I am running a jp1 but I'm wanting a 086 dynamite pipe to help the top end a bit.

Brianr34(or anyone else),

I was considering buying this same combo (Novarossi N21B w/Dynamite 086 pipe) because from what I've read, it seems that people really like that setup.

I run on a medium/large flowing track, but still mostly utilize the top end only on the straightaway. I'm thinking I want to get the pipe that allows the engine to work most efficiently, and then I can adjust the gearing accordingly.

Are you unhappy with that combo, or just trying to see if more can be squeezed out of it?

Thanks
