This is what I have, probably not the "best" combo, but I love it and it goes pretty damn good!

LRP Z.28 spec, PS
Jp4 pipe

costs about 350$ total.

Look at the Go Tech 3 port engine and JP-3 pipes. You wont be short on horsepower, thats for damn sure.

JP-4 is efra legal. Thats the only reason it is out there. Unless the track you race at requires that you need to meet efra standards you dont need one. And you dont race so spending the extra $ on the jp-4 is pointless. Not to mention that it is tuned for rediculous top end. The type you will never use on a track.

I would say to check out the RB S5 or S7 with a 2045 pipe, or the Nova 21BF with a 086 pipe. Talk to fellow racers, look for the guys with the cheaper mills and see how they perform. I am actually quite surprised at the 21BF engine by Nova. Its under $200 and should keep up with many higher dollar engines.

Having owned a couple Nova Bf's I would say the Go 3 port race spec is way better for the same money. ($180 for either)

IMO they did something else other than making it race legal, I have a Go 5 Port Turbo, I also have the JP-4 and JP-3 pipes, I first tried the JP-4 on my Go, it was ok but runtimes were only of 6 mins, then I switched to a JP-3 and it actually felt better and runtimes were over 8 mins and the tune was exactly the same. I ended up using another pipe but still.

back to the thread, I suggest a Go 3 Port Race Spec, it's only $180 bucks, as for the pipe, I believe people have had great success with Dynamite 053's. I personally have the 5 port but my dad have the 3 port race, still in the break in process but he's starting to feel the power already! he's using a JP-3 and seems to be nice.

so basically what youre saying is its perfect for me? I dont race, I just like maxing it out on the gravel roads, making it do like 100 km/h.

and I love the sound of it... youre telling me the jp3 sounds way different/louder?

I also like the color of it too over the jp3, the jp4 i paid 89$ for, the jp4 is not going for 83. The jp3 sells for 75. so a 8$ price difference, used to be a 15$ difference.

Best engine/price? Axe Rossi Mamba X1 + 2050 pipe combo for $299.99. You can't get a better deal than that for this perfomance level. It comes with a 3 year warranty.

All these people are refering slower lower end motors.... none of the suggested motors have much power, my god people give this guy some good advice !!!!

Jammin JPX 21/086 tuned pipe........... this combo will smoke every motor sugested thus far ( hell a Jammin smokes every Nova made today !)
