Bang for the buck!!!!
I race Novas and RBs. However, if I were going for pure power and not racing, I would run the Sportworks .26 V2 ($145) with a Dynamite 086 ($45). If you need a back plate, they are $14. They can be pull start, roto start or bump box. They have a nice restrictor set included as well.
Nothing listed here will outrun this setup. Be warned!! It will blow the tires off the car! If you are just making speed runs and want to outrun your buddies, this will do very well. These motors are coming back with an easy 7+ gallons on them and if treated right, they are getting 10+ gallons.
$190 + tax and you are good to go.
Hope this helps,
TEX

Also its not hard to burn 7 gallons when a motors as bad on fuel as a SW 26 is...they use ultra soft pistons and will get nowhere near the amount of run time hours as the Picco 21.....

We have a Redline .21 5 port tha has a matching pipe that has done very well.
For $190 on the engine and $35-40 on the pipe it has a all around good price. You can also get a tuned version for $260 that includes ceramics, lightweight crank/epoxy filled, lightweight rod, and some slight sleeve work.
I personally have been running the stock version in our car and it has so far given me 3-4 gallons of flawless performance! I am not one to say this is the BEST COMBO over other engines/brands but I will tell you it is a great setup.
If you would like more information send us a email @ [email protected]
Some other good engines for the money would be the :
go 3 port
go 5 port
RB engines
Novarossi engines
Look into the dynamite brand of pipes as they are usually a great price!
