Default 300 for a .21 What are you buying

OK, so you have 300 bucks, and you need a new .21 what motor are you getting, and why.

it doesnt need fixed. I am thinking about getting either a vspec, grp .21, mugen/os .21. I would like to keep it under 300, but a few of those options are above.

So i want to see what other people would do in my spot. Maybe there is a nice motor i havent considered.

Either way, max price is 360.

have you thought of Go engine?? under $215 for the 3, 5, 7 ports. You can use the money you saved toget tires!!! I have a 7 port with 2.5 gallons and it has a ton of pinch, and a 1.5 gallon 3 port, they perform flawlessly.

Dont forget the RB motors. The S5 and WS7 are powerhouses. Then there is always the C6 is you really want power.

+1 on Go Engines, they're awesome, have nice power, great run time and my favorite is the idle!

Werks B7 Pro

Ninja Bo1A/GRP can still be found for right at 300

RB WS7

RB S7 L2G for $260 is a relative bargain; gets great mileage; makes great power and is smooth. Works on a variety of tracks as well (short/long) makes nice bottom and top end w/053 or 9853 pipe and short/med header.

Thumbs up

+1 for RB !!!

I started out with an S3 with a JP-3 pipe and that rocked!

I just got a C6 with a 2045 and amazed with it! Hella power, super smooth, and incredible run-time!!!

From what I have heard they last forever, a local guy got 12 gallons on his S3 before needing a piston/sleeve!!!

So I am now an RB guy!

+2 for Go-Tech. I would get a 5-port standard, 086 pipe and a full set of tires.

well i have done 2 vspecs, so i know what they are like. But i got the wife to let me get the GRP .21, since i got 25 off the 349 price tag from Carolinas RC.

My truggy motor is going to be needed soon, so if i like this one, i will probably get another.

I was going to try the Go Tech, but no one had the 5 or 7 port motors in stock.

You could almost get 2 Go's for that. Or go to PTM and get a modded Go and you would still be under your range. You would have enough left over to pick up a Dynamite 086 pipe as well.
