wow, that setup has some thick oil. i'm guessing air temperature down there in the winter doesn't get 10 degrees or less

i tried a setup somewhat similar with the same oil and man, the car didn't work the jumps very well at all, very springy.

but then again, track temps were 15 degrees

northern illinois temps can be a bitch. winter time, the only place to race is leisure hours raceway, they have an indoor track, but not heated, and with about 10 large vent/windows open, track temps dip really fast.

plastic can't hold to the temps either. alot of people boil there parts and most importantly their wings to gain some flex from the plastic

I thought boiling plastic made them stiffer after they cooled off.

i am down to 27wt front and rear for winter racing. i have snapped 2 wings from the cold.

also, most guys pre-heat their engines up here too just before warmup time starts, almost a have to with todays engines being tighter longer.

Boiling will soften the plastic material unless you drop 1 Viagra tablet in the water. The more tablets the harder the plastic becomes.

chill- thanks for posting the setup, you will have to show me how sometime.

Shock fluid is a little on the heavy side due to the track being hard packed and high bite.

If you run on a loose track go down 5-10wt all around.

this setup rotates pretty heavily(thats what I like) if you don't like the car to rotate alot then go to a smaller sway bar in the rear, or shorter camber link

Whenever I ran that front shock position and rear anti-squat I lost all entry steering and it was all over the place on throttle. But I guess it depends on the amount of grip available. Everything else looks pretty standard though
