Hey Curtis.... are you using the upper hole in the rear hub hingepin? for indoor that will get it working better in the corners, it will increase the turnbuckle angle at the same time and allow it to slide controlable through the corner on power

tried posting on the grid, it must be down

Tony,
I'm running the lower hole.I ran out of time with all the other changes i was making..I thought when you ran the upper hole on the hub it increased traction?Well at lease it did on the AE car..

What is the engine of choice that most of you are using ?

Tony, A snowblower project would be better in the hands of David Baker. He can build anything...

Curt,

Couple of questions off top of my head.

Does the car use the larger diameter wheels? Does the car have a optional quick change motor mount or is it standard with the kit? What has everyone found out to be the best diff fluids? Does the car use a 3 shoe clutch, and is everyone using stock clutches or using somethign like king headz, m2c, or dynamite? Are parts hard to to get in when you place an order?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am excited about possible joining the TQ team. I believe I can bring some great R&D with 12 years of racing, Region 3 winner and part of the 2000 Worlds Team.

Tony, what are the major events on the east coast in 09 that TQ will be focusing on?

it does a few things, it really depends on the track surface. Typically on a rough track you want to run the lower hole.... smoother tracks I run the upper hole. try it out and see how it feels

Greg - Ben running Vspecs all year, when Ed gets his motors in I'll be running them.

Samos - The car can use any wheel, no quick change mtr mount, 5/7/2-5/4/1 typical diff oils, stock is 3 shoe, I run a RC8 clutch, Parts are only hard to get when your UPS man knows whats in the box , I know I'll be at Motorama in feb along with alot o TQ drivers, Pro Series races, regionals etc. I'm not too well versed on the east side races.

samos234- You'll love the car. It comes with larger diameter wheels which you want to run. Standard proline and panther wheels rub the steering linkage plastic a bit, but not to bad. The car does come w/ the quick change motor mount. I stripped mine and opted to use longer screws and lock nuts to keep it in place. I just remove the motor from the top! Old school quick change I also run the dynamite max life's w/ a racers edge vented 13t cb. Great combo, imo...I usually start w/ 5 7 2 in the diffs and go from there. Hope that helps and glade to see your interested! What part of the country are you from?

Greg B - I'm currently running a Sirio and Ninja. The Sirio is prob the smoothest and my favorite motor to run....although I have already had to replace the rear bearing just after 2 gal. My buddy has the same evo 4 w/ the same issue....The ninja is freakin awesome too! It has tons of bottom and top...Its just a tad bit like, I dont know....a light switch ....
If I had to choose, I would take the Ninja. It will last for 10+ gallons...Hope that helps

Tony,

Thanks for the info. Any works for a quick change motor mount? If not I am good friends with the owner of M2C and I am sure if there is a market for it he could make one.

Trying my best to attend Motorama, The Pyshco Nitro Blast is the same month so it will be hard for me. Check out www.psychonitroblast.com we had 350 racers last year and it was our first year. Drake and Truhe have already made hotel arrangements should be a good one.

Darn UPS racers!
