im putting the big bores together and wondering if im missing a washer...
per the photo, there is an oring, red oring, plastic spacer, red oring and then another washer then the bottom cap. I dont have the washer it shows in the pick before the cap is put on. It does not have a part number either.
when i just put what i have which is the red o ring, plastic spacer and red oring then put the bottom cap on, there is a gap in there...Is that ok? Its not leaking....There is some play in there though.

The buggy is about 90% done. just need to add elec and motor. I'm impressed with the quality and how easy the build was. Instructions were easy to follow and no TREE'S! I really like how the parts are precut and bagged. only mods I had to make was trimming the lower ark of the servo saver to miss the lower arm bolt and that was it...
Question....I run panther wheels and tires and noticed that they rub on the steering tierod end. anyone else had that problem? i could trim them down a bit, but wonder if that will weaken the strength of the tierod end?

Oh yeah I just looked at mine and they are worn down big time. Not sure what to do about that.
I must have tried 5 different tire/wheel combo's at the yard, ended up using panther tires/green panther inserts/pro-line wheels - all discontinued now, ha.

"LOSI size Wheel"
They have redesigned the rod ends to work with any 1/8 buggy wheel. Order a new set and they should be the updated ones.. If not I had dremaled the original style to work without rubbing. The smaller wheels will rub the top of the C Hub as well, so you may need to trim a lil there too. Or just run the bigger wheels. Good Luck!
