Mmmmm Truggy....

Drove my bug for a few tanks in my driveway, friggin poison ivy sucks!- I didn't feel like going to the track, and the little testing I did it seems to be very nice so far. Can't wait for the first track test!

Man, another late night up wrenching..... just about ready, painted a new lid and measured my fuel capacity tonight..... with 2 filters we're just below 125cc....perfect.

Reminder - on my setup sheet I listed 40/30 for shock oil........ when I ran those oils it was only 70ish degrees around here....... now its mid 90s - 100 and I've gone up to 50/35 and I'm testing 4/6/1200 this weekend for a practice setup along with some different shock springs..... on the street it just about pulls friggin wheely so it'll really make it accelerate as long as there's enough grip. Last weekend I ran the outside holes in the rear arms and it was really good.... I think I'll stick with that for awhile

Ran my first race with the SX-8 and TQ fuel this weekend. It was the 3rd round of the Ohio River Series at BAD R/C in Beckley, WV.
The car felt good all day, had some small issues in the quals but still ended up 9th out of 28 buggies, two seconds out of the A. Lead all of the 10 minute B except for 3 laps and bumped to the A. About 3 mins. into the 20 min. A I had an extremely hard crash and ended up with a broken front shock tower, still managed to limp around for a 6th place finish. First time out with TQ products and my best finish of the series, THANKS TQ!

Just saw a SX8 run today at my state race in Florida. His name was Trey and drove the buggy pretty good. I really like the way it looked like it handled. Looked at it up close and looks very well made and durable. Trey was very helpful and answered all my questions and was a really nice guy. You guys did a nice job on that buggy!

I got my new graphics coming in this week for the buggy! cant wait to get the new bod for it! i painted up a plain white one with neon yellow window trim! I ran the buggy around the house making sure everything was working good and i must say i am very excited to get its first run on the buggy this coming up weekend!

I am running the buggy in AZ and i must say, tony nailed it when he said you should try adding thicker shock oil to the shocks in the heat. when i was running the buggy i saw that it was a little to soft and since its usually always in the 100"s out here, definitely need the thicker oil!
