Cool thanks Brian most of my setup is close to yours but I do not have any of the new parts yet. I am running 3-5-1200 in one buggy and 5-7-1200 in the other buggy. I am using ae 35w in the rear shocks and 40w in the front. The rest of the setup to Tonys old setup sheet. So far they are working great but always looking for more tweeks hehehe.

Rear droop limit to .062??? I got my rear set from shock lower shock bolt to upper shock bolt. I am running 103mm on front and 124mm on back.

My setup is
4-5-2 in the diffs
40wt front shocks
30wt rear shocks
Silver springs
Stock settings everywhere else but I did move the rear top shocks out one hole.
Front: 2 degress toe out in the front with 2 degress -camber
3 degress toe in with 1 degree -camber
Full droop front and rear.

This might change after today.

Nice starter box! Mine is even older and quite in need of a makeover...

I dont suppose anyone has tried the newest trend of either 7/7/3 or 10/10/4 in their diffs....? Im going to try the 7/7/3 setup next week.

I had 5-7-3 which worked great but the buggy was loose in the rear exiting corners. I just went down to 1200 in the rear. Going to try it out at the track tomorrow.

sweet thanks Will, I guess everyone is very close in there setup with small tweeks. I am having problems with my setup because the local track is a tight track with lots of corners and jumps. Corners are loose and straights are hard packed with short runs to the jumps.

Sluggo, try going softer with your shock oil in the rear and add more - camber

maybe 25w in the rear? I got about -2 camber now with 3.5 toe in. Also have about 2 deg toe out on front end with about -2 camber. I am getting closer I just need a day at the track without a new motor to tune so I can really hammer on it. I retuned my cobra today with the 6mm carb insert and it is really kicking ass now so tomorrow I should get some good track time in.

Luther-- I got my order I placed on Monday night, but I still haven't got the Truggy?? Did Jesse forget to ship it or do you know what happened? Pro Series is next weekend and was really wanting to debut the TQ Truggy there.

Sluggo;

I would not go thinner than 30wt in the rear shocks. I think you will notice a big difference once you get all the lightend parts on your buggy, i know i did.

My car was very good Saturday with the set up I posted. I TQed all 3 rounds of quals and one the A by a lap. Car was great all day, no issues at all. We race on a small tight track that was very loose with the sun on it and super high bite when the sun went down. car was good in both conditions.

2 TQ cars made the A at this race, good job DOC.
