Is this the final layout of the truck or still a prototype?

Dave and I had a great weekend. I couldn't be happier with the SX8. I had 5 minutes total on the car before qualifying and ended up 10th in the A in Open Buggy. I had engine, clutch, tire trouble in the main. Dave got a little exercise running to get my flamed out car. I had a great start and was sitting 5th before I started to feel the tire edge going away and the engine not running right.

Dave's main went really well. I serviced his fuel needs like clockwork every 7.5 minutes plus or minus 30 seconds. He drove a steady race with minimal crashes. He was on the same tires I was so I am sure he was a little nervous with them. His engine was much smoother in the mid-range so traction was probably a little easier to manage.

As mayor said, it was a good weekend. My car was rock solid all weekend no issue no problems and stayed consistent. As the rains went away we were left with a polished water groove, if you can picture what it might be like to drive on your garage surface..lol. I made the wrong tire selection for the main but still ended up finishing second.

Wanted to say it was super nice to meet the entire east coast TQ Team. Brent, Bobby, Doc, Brian and all the others. Brent--- sorry we never got around to taking some pictures, next time we will.

Race Report- After first round of qual i was sitting in the A, 12th. then round 2 and 3 the track changed substantially and I didn't chang setup or tires, and I didn't drive so good so I ended up after qual points 5th in the B. 30 min B main I finished 3rd, 5 seconds behind 2 for the bump. Car was great and super consistent. Love the big bore shocks especially on a blown out track.

Looking forward to getting the Truggy dialed in before the NATS. Thanks to the entire TQ Team, GREAT JOB!

Truggy I am still running the old losi, qual. 9th and broke 5 times during the main, finished 12th.

Yeah, we took off Shannon. It was cool me and you being in the B pro. I was sitting 5th in the B when I ran out of gas 1/4 track from pitting. Ended up 9th. You had a great run going and almost bumped. Will catch ya next time.

Great news we have got the new gears done, this will change the ratio to give the car the best of both worlds.

Guys we are really working and I am sure you will love the new acceleration of the buggy.

Luther-- correct me if i am wrong but I believe the new gears are the truggy gears.

Definately in for truggy, wish I could have had it for the wiregrass so we would have had a TQ in the A-Main.

Have the next RC pro Series race one month from today in alabama, so I hope to have the truck before then.

doc you got pm
