Well looks like I will be staying home this Sat and racing Sun. We are doing track on Sat and I want to be there. Good luck at Nitro Fever.

BK - We are taking those 2 jumps off the track in front of the drivers stand and making the others bigger.

Default My SX8`S

I just finished rebuilding my buggies after last year`s season. Last year was my first season racing any kind of Nitro buggies. I bought my first SX8 in July and struggled finding the setup i wanted. Towards the end of the season i found something that worked and ended pretty strong for a beginner. Over the winter i got a good deal on two separate 8`s and enough part`s for another. The one on the right is my original and racing 8 and the other is a back up though i have not broken anything so i will use it for practice.
The body on the left is my first attempt at air brushing and the one one the right came with one of the 8`s. Can`t wait for our season to begin, 17,18 and 19 of April is our Canadian Indoor Offroad Shootout.

Finally had a good day of racing with the buggy yesterday since I got it. No motor problems. The buggy handled great and I don't have the upgrade parts on it yet. Hope I can take it to the Beach. Battle at the Beach that is.

B. Kadow- I will be calling you so we can make plans.

Thanks Bernie, i`m not sponsored but Vic is the distributer here so ya i guess you could say i`m running for him.
Unfortunately they are not powder coated, i gave them a good wet sanding and a few light coats of paint. I`m not sure how the tops of the shock towers will hold out but will find out soon enough. I guess if i keep it on all 4`s they will last longer, lol. If anyone out there knows where i can get then powder coated for a fairly reasonable price please shot me a PM, i have 3 or 4 sets of the aluminum parts that i would like to get done.

You also have a great 09 !!

WOW, you ought to get about 2-3 extra minutes per tank with all that fuel line and filters. Is that really worth it, was wondering some people swear by it and some just dont like having all that tubing. Just wondering Im on the fence on the issue.
