Default CRT.5 Backplate

I am going to put a backplate on the stock Jammin' .12 engine... so, right now, I'm trying to take the pin out of the back... I was told the pin is a 'floating pin' and should be removable.

The pin won't come out easily... is there some trick to getting it out?

Thanks for any help.

The crank pin.

The pin that goes into the pull start. But I'm removing the pull start and trying to put a backplate on.

if the pin is stuck then the spring is over lapping on to the pin you might have to give it a good grip and yank on the pin to get out then pull the spring out with a 1.5mm driver it should slide out.
