Default quick gear question

What is the difference between a 14/48 gear system and a 12/50? or a 18/44? (if one exists), or how about a 12/44 or a 18/50?

Whats the highest/lowest clutch you can get? I have a 12t and 18t.

How about the highest/lowest spur gears you can get? Im not sure what I have there... I think its 46t, stock for the MBx5

Thanks.

edit: I need a new servo arm for a Hitec HS 625MG, I have some arms from a spektrum kit and a himoto kit but the spektrums are too small, and the Himoto ones are too big, they work for a few mins but then the insides get stripped. What are the different sizes for servo heads? (the piece that you put the screw the screw into, not sure the technical name)

Yes I have a buggy
Yes all I do is bash

I believe im running the 18T now. but im not too sure what that does, is it aimed at top speed or bottom end grunt?

How about those combos I mentioned?

whats the diff between a 14/48 or a 18/44 ... same total number of teeth(62), but I know something changed.

or how about a 12/44 (56 teeth) vs a 18/50 (68 teeth)?

is the difference between a 17 and 18t clutch really a noticeable difference?

I have an MBX5 BUGGY & all you need is a 13 (stock), 14 & the stock spur (46 if I remember correctly. Most smallish tracks use the 13. I have a C6 in mine & use a 14 everyhwhere. Unless you have a motor with a LOT (more than a C6) of bottom end power or your track has NO slow sections 15 is too much. You would only use 16 too 18 if you have a AE8 (I have one of these too).

Im not concerned on getting the absolute perfect combo.

I dont race, just bash around in a field/gravel road.

I just want to make my car have the highest possible top speed.
