You don't NEED an M8/M11. It has more options than you will most likely every use. That MX-3 FHSS would be perfect. I loved my MX-3. It has all the options you need and very few you don't.

Looks pretty good. It has all the features that are important, and the price is really good for a radio that has all of those features! I don't know much about the specific model... maybe someone can offer some input?

i way agree with k_b why spend 400 when i can spend 180 lol. a guy at a lhs suggeted this company he does have the 400 dollar one but said it was a little over kill. he suggest the mx3. i did a lot of research to come up with this radio.

You need a glow ignighter, starter box, temp gun, fuel bottle, glow plug wrench and maybe a few other small items. You're choices are fine if you're just staring out

the mx-3 fhss is fine, it's what i use when running electric or nitro. before the mx-3 fhss i used a regular mx-3. i would suggest finding a radio with all the features you want and then if possible hold it in your hand. the feel of the radio makes a big difference (for me at least).

yeah getting radio hand sucks. that is a disadvantage of shopping online and being in a full leg cast.

Everything you have listed sounds great. The only thing I can think of adding is some additional tires. Other then that you are good to go.

This is more of a luxury item, but it might be a good idea to pick up a radio bag.

For tires, I've found that BowTies and CrimeFighters seem to work on a pretty wide range of surfaces, but the best thing to do is to find out what the local racers are running.

i do have a tote bag when i had my rustler. didnt like it really too flimsy. i like using a tote platics box.
