Mugen MBX5 Chassis

Hi Guys,

My son's Mugen MBX5 chassis has a small crack where the engine mounts so I want to find a replacement for him. On Ebay there are plenty of chassis' for the MBX5R at great prices. I've been told that these chassis' will it the MBX5. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks

Coopertrooper

Same layout, just use the MBX5R chassis.

I have a brand new in package Fioroni Chassis for the MBX5 that is a direct fit for your sons car....it is valued at 199.99...if you can believe that. I will sell it to you for 50$. I just need to get rid of it, as The engine mount area does not accept the one piece engine mount, but accepts the two piece design that is on the regular MBX5.

Please PM me if you want it. They are VERY nice, for sure.

the BCE xxr chassis. The best you can buy. The chassis is longer, and comes with a new longer rear center bone.

I can see no reason to need a longer chassis for the Mugen....it has tons of rear traction as is. Can you tell me why Bigedmond? :weird:

Hmmm... he said "longer rear bone" which means the chassis is longer behind the engine... less weight on the rear = less rear traction/more front traction so it SHOULD turn better. Also a longer chassis (as long as it is legal) should be more stable over jumps and rough stuff.
