thankyou for you reply's guys.

I have looked at the other engines but I do really want a novarossi engine. I have seen only good things from these engines as far as lasting long and tune-ability etc..

as it stands now I have peiced together a package with a 21-5KT and exhaust and manifold and its actually cheaper to buy the Hot Mods Plus 2 367 7 Port engines which I am sure would be a great engine.
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/14212

buying from amain, I see that novarossi is infact not that much dearer then all the other brands anyway including OS V-spec's.
unless i am looking at the wrong ones?

so;
Mugen MBX5R
Hot Mods 367 Novarossi (Comes with manifold and 9901 tuned pipe)

any thoughts?

thankyou

367 is flame out city from what i have heard, tho if thats what you want GL with it.

THANKS!
Even though you can run more pre-load spacers with the shorter springs to get the same ride height, the car handles and steers MUCH better with the longer springs. I highly recommend them.

Best regards,

Dont waste your money on a hot mod, they barely do anything to the internals to justify any extra $$. If you want a mod go with ceo, ive seen alot of his engines and they are awesome. I have never seen a engine modded by Maximo(on this site) but the pics of his work look very promising so that would be another suggestion. I have a tnt mod and it also is very good. I would recommend those 3 as a hot mod is really a waste of money in my opinion.

If you use the 367, don't use the #7 glowplugs. Use a #6 or #5 glowplugs. Novarossi stop using the #7 and use the #6 now . They are being imported as engines only now without all the extras to keep the prices down since those items made it more money anyways just to get that engine.

You can also check with Maxy's fuel website, as I know he had some modded ones also. I have not seen his modded one flameout out at our local track yet.

Thankyou all for your reply's!

After much reading etc I just gave up on the idea of a nova. Too much hit and miss for the amount of money.

I have ordered a OS V-Spec which i am sure i'll be happy with and will replace the bearings with ceremic ones after a couple litres(7?). What should I get for the bearings?

I ordered a 9060 pipe set as the 9050 is not sold anymore.

As for the 367, i just read to much bad info though for your info you can get a Hot mod version or CEO cheaper then you can get a 21-5KT and pipe for. There has to be a reason for that, lol.

You can get 367,9901 pipe, 5 glowies and seals etc for $404us. still cheaper then the V-Spec with pipe!

thanks all

Hi Pracy
I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the OS V spec, my son is the factory Mugen driver from Australia (Wayne Walker) and is running the new OS manufactured JX Ninja and he loves this engine. He was running the GRP Ninja, but the new JX Ninja has so much more power and he has just TQ'd and won the Australian Championships
