Default Part for P5 engine

Hi All.
I need to do an overhaul for my Novarossi P5 engine and I'm looking for a place (online) to buy the parts. I need the sleeve, piston and the rod.
Till now I've found it in Ace Hobbies, Nitrohouse.
Also, in the RC-Mushroom website (www.rc-mushroom.com) they have a kit for the MLC B7EVO engine which has the SAME partnumber as the P5 (and I know that MLC share some modells with P5).
Please let me know if you think the MLC part will suit (as the price on rc-mushroom is much lower than on the other sites) or recommend a place to buy the part
Thanks ALL

That MLC p/s/r set should work fine. Check Ebay, as you just missed some JP Racing ones this week for about $125.

Thanks for the info. Could you please send a link to that auction in Ebay?

Default Thanks all!!

One more thing:
I'm doing an overhaul because of a lose of a compression. The engine got bad because I wasnt careful enought with it (dirt got in).
I dont know if I should change only the sleeve/piston or should I do the conrod too?

Does the conrod have play on the crank pin? Also, the rear bearing might be toast also.

If the engine is in pretty good condition you might be able to just get by sending it to someone and have the sleeve pinched. I pinch engines and I only charge $15.00 to pinch a sleeve, $35.00 if you send the whole motor. I have also had good luck replacing Novarossi parts with Go parts. A Go rod is under $19.00 piston sleeve and rod is $93.50.
