Default Buku Pipe, other peoples experience...?

So, I bought one of these Buku Pipe systems, thinking its actually a pretty good idea...

After a couple days of playing with it and its endless adjustments I can't seem to find the "perfect" tune. I've changed springs and cones for my XZ .28 and while it seems to be okay down low (the XZ already has plenty down low), the top-end is suffering.

Also I don't like the vast amounts of smoke coming out of it at low speed and idle. The issue is that I believe its running a bit rich which may cause some fouling...maybe...

After a couple days of testing, I don't see any advantage, actually more of a hassle for really nothing....

Curious what other people's experience are/is?
