Default Pull starter

Hey guys,

I snapped my pull starter cord today, and when I took it off the motor the coiled up piece of wire sprung out at me.

Is that an easy fix? Or should I not bother and buy a new one?

Are the motor specific? Or are they generic?

Can I just screw a new one on and away I go again?

And, last of the stupid questions, is there any other way of starting my truck without the pull start?

Kyosho Mad Force, I think the engine is a GX-21. It is the stock motor.

I'm going to have a go at putting it back together tomorrow.

If I can't I'll buy a new one!

Thanks mate.

The only problem is that I am in Australia, and it would be quicker to buy one locally I think.

Thanks for your help though.

I don't think the Mad Force is compatible with a starter box FYI it's got a ladder frame chassis
