8ight-t RTR bump start conversion
I apologize up front, I know this has to have been posted before, but I simply can not get a key word defined that prevents me from cruising through a million threads to find it. It's a quick question.
I just bought a Losi starter box and back plate to convert my 8ight-t RTR 427 engine to a bump starter.
Do I need new motor mounts or any other mods?
Again, apologies up front for a dup post. Thanks!

yes grab yourself a dremel with a cut off wheel. pull the crank out of the engine and FAR from the rest of the engine. then grab your con rod/piston and mount it on the crank you will see where the rod rides the crank then you will see excess off the crank pin that is what you will dremel off very quick and easy just cut it out and make sure its flat(and wont rub the back plate). you may also need to dremel the chassis where the flywheel and starter box wheel meet I think on the RTR versions its not "beveld" or opend enough
good luck not too hard just make sure you dont get any debris in the engine after cuting the pin!
