Default voltage reducer for lipo packs used on RX...needed????

so i run the 6 volt limiter to my RX... what if i dont i know it might fry something but what are the odds???

your servos would burn up eventually, they're not made to run on 7.4v

ok thanks.. thats what i thought.. but i wonder how much it shortens the servo's life span....
