Default Which nitro to get??

Hi guys!

Ill be heading to my LHS tomorrow to pick up my new HPI Firestorm RTR. This will be my very first nitro RC.
I just want to ask you guys if what nitro fuel should I use for my firestorm?

My LHS carries these brands..

-HPI Monster fuel 25% nitro
-KLOTZ Lube glow fuel 20%, 25%, 33% nitro
-KYOSHO Racing Kanai 20%, 30% nitro

Thanks in advance!

if ur lhs has it ive always ran either the odonnells or widcat. the odonnells will make ur eyes water a lil bit and the wildcat has a kind of sweet smell and wont make ur water.

I also run Sidewinder, 30% Worlds Blend... or Nitro Juice 30%. However, he listed the types his LHS carries, and he should run one of those since it is difficult to get fuel if your LHS doesn't carry it.

Does anyone have any experience with any of them?

I'd feel safe using Klotz.

Thumbs up

I to am in Japan (Okinawa) and had to change fuel brands when I got here. I have a Revo with a STS.21 and a Kyosho sp2 and I run the Klotz 20% in both. I would recommend this brand and suggest the 20% as you are new to nitro, you will give up a little overall performance but your engine should run cooler and last longer. Hope this helps and good luck.
