We all came down for the Thanksgiving race last year...
yes it would be the Birmingham airport the track is 2hours from the airport and the hotels are 15miles from the track the web site will have all the info very soon http://www.southernindoorchampionship.com

You are so very right, no wooden jumps!!!!! I'm building the track and all That I will say about the track is it will measure 200ft by 100ft with alot of elevation changes and rhythm sections.

Actually, the Montgomery airport is closer but it's tiny and might cost you more to arrive there as not as many airlines use it. Being small it is much simpler in and out though. Skinny came in and flew out of Montgomery a couple years ago and we were on our way about 15 minutes after his flight landed. It was about the same wait in the boarding line when he left out. Depending on traffic it's 20~30 minutes to the hotels and I'm pretty sure courtesy pickup service is available from some of them.

now that sounds more like it.
Flying and still having to drive over 2 hours isn't what i had in mind.

i will look into the other airport.

I agree with that...we're gonna try something different this year...a 2 ton roller to pack the crap out of it.
