Default Lipo specs for use in a starter box

I am researching this for a buddy of mine who wants to use lipos in a starter box. He will do a 14.8V setup, but I am not sure what are the minimums people are using as far as mah rating and C rating. He stated he has heard that guys are using anywhere between 2000 - 3000mah packs.

thanks for any info.

I use a 14.8v 2100mah with a 20c rating in the Ofna10244. We used it the other day starting 2 truggies and have to say WOW.

I put it on the charger to see how flat it was, it had only dropped .13 amps and took 15mins to top up!!!

thanks for the info guys. So the 2100+ setup should be fine. I'll take a look around and see.

i use the protek 14.8v 20c lipo mentioned above. it works awesome! i have broken in 2 ninja engines with it on an ofna chrome top box and i must say that the lipo is tiny and packs a real punch. it only holds 2100mah, but it will last all day easily!
