Deffinetly the big bores will give you more stability during the corners and it makes the jumps way easier .
OK, looks like I got to pull some tricks out my sleeve. I have a new pipe to test, so make sure you get the Maxy's V-Spec ready. Opps, looks like I'm sharing too much info already!
Oh, and Manny should be joining in with the ST-RR.

Well I made it. I got to run about 5 tanks through before the clutch bell bearing broke and a clutch shoe broke at the spring hole. It was a blast, I wont be able to fix it till I get back from vacation...end of the month...

You didn't shim the CB too tight did you? Also, run the Kyosho 5x7mm shims for shimming the CB bearings between the flywheel nut and the front bolt/washer. If you run into any issues with broken springs, try switching them to Kyosho springs as some have had issues with the Mugen ones breaking.

No, the pivotball is the only suspension. Lightweight pivotballs work well though.

reason I ask is because I have a revo and when i run on the drift, i always get dirt in my pivot balls and it makes steering not as smooth.

does the mugen have that problem?

also even the prospec has lead pivot balls?

there's no difference in pillow's when it comes to prospec and non...they both come with the lead weights. ....and as for dirt in them....the mugen's are pretty good at keepin crud out...however if u leave the truck Unmaintained for a long period any part will get crusty.

I haven't seen any Mugen pivot balls crud up to hamper the steering. I apply graphite or moly grease, rub it in, and clean off the excess. Any grease thats globbed in will attract dirt to stick to it.

Ah, but you did see that Juan had my truck up to second place right before a steering nut fell off at 10 minutes. And thats after getting thrown to the back of pack in a pile up at first. If it weren't for that nut falling off, you know that first place was for the taking.

Thats was a fast paced hard race though. I overheard Eddy say that was the fastest 8 minutes he ran so far til he bowed out early.

Oh, no problem with my brakes. I figured Juan doing "End-O's" at the end of the straight was bit too much, so we backed it down and left some brakes for reserve. I guess I could give you some, since your weren't up to par I hope you glued those pads on the plates. I'm pretty sure I know what happened if you didn't
