I told him to get the MBX5T just cause the build quality is superior in every way and its light, fast and good value for money, especialy with the dealership that we would get parts off. Not that he would need many cause they are bomb proof cars.

Anyway i dont want to sway anyones input but they are the facts he has to deal with. PS he drives like a Madman too and is slightly new to the game, isnt that right Dave

PS: The ST was the first Truggy he has ever driven, nothing else and hes pretty keen to buy one before driving another brand for comparison.
What about a Slosi Aka. XRAY XT8 Owell If you want the Lunch box they call a hellfire go with it....but people only buy it for the name >.>

Mugen should be the 1st in the list, then the X1crt ( maybe April will soon answer the long anticipation of the X2). These are the best out there.... Then get the ST if the MBX5T and X1 are not available, then lastly, the Hellfire...

Mugen is on the top of the list but I would have to say the ST-RR is the big dog on the block right now.

you can try the hellfire why not but if it's just gonna keep breaking on a 30 mins. main it's frustated just like my old other truck good thing i get rid of it,there's a lot of new truggy coming out ,but i have seen the strr & tried damn that truck is easy to handle & stable ,5T is a competitive truck & there right it's a top caliber truck wat can i say but overall for me the important is make sure it suit your driving style that's all ......................

i wont know if it will suit my driving style until i get it, but compared to a hyper ST, it's gotta be better cant wait to drive a real car, the 9 year old dominator just isnt up to the task
its gonna be good fun racing with the truggies, looking forward to the comradary between terry and myself
thanks for the imput guys hope i made the right choice

+1 for the MBX5T, solid proven winner! of course it will take more than just the truck to win, but these things are pretty dialed right out of the box.

another truggy to look into is the OCM Kaos d-19t, has the MBX5T platform, but it is a truggy designed specfically from truggy racers.

thanks mbx, i have already got my mind set on the MBX5T, this was just a case of what truggy i should get as a starting point, and to learn how to drive a trug. from what everyone has been saying a MBX5T is a great first truggy and is capable of winning, its just going to be town to me to drive it properly with the right setup but time will tell, i know i will enjoy driving the mugen more than my dominator, and it will be a definate improvement on everything. anyone know any good body's to suit the mugen, it has to look good too
thanks again for the input

i got a great deal on the mbx5t, the x-ray is a little more expensive and i didnt want to wait ANOTHER week to get a trug, so the mbx5t will have to do for now, atleast until i can out drive it, that may take some time....

Red face

Yeah, But If you really want to win races with a mugen you have to buy a bunch of hopup parts...other than big bore shocks on the X-ray ur ready to win.
