Is that fuel tank at an angle or is it me? Looks like the center diff is moved over slightly putting the engine more towards the centerline of the chassis.

Still not convinced of the throttle/brake linkage though.

Flown any RC planes? That long push-rod isn't all that long. It seems to be pretty well protected. I doubt it'll be an issue, but we'll just have to see after they get out and about for a while.

Planes never take the kind of abuse an offroad vehicle does. Well unless you drill it into the ground. I'm not saying the linkage won't be just fine. But I would bet you it wasn't their first choice! Like I said they did it out of necessity due to the design.

Well, until we have one and can "abuse" it, we really won't know. It doesn't really bother me, but I plan to sit on the fence about it till we try it out.

looks good to me overall but I'd be more worried about the receiver battery box being incorperated into the side mud gaurd

There are several things that we all can look at in the pictures and speculate on.

However; I feel confident that Mr. Bump would not put his name out there if he thought this was a fragile product. He has always taken the route of function over form; and compared to some other "flashier" or more "finished" looking cars on the market, this can be seen in the 9.

The car ultimately will be tough, easy to service, and perform very well in the hands of the average racer on a variety of tracks.

I guess after that statement no one had anything else to say.

This car looks interesting to say the least. I'm sure Bump wouldn't put his name on it without it being a reliable vehicle.

Anybody know when this thing is suppose to be available for purchase?

Of'course I looked, you silly..

It might not look identical but but tilted angled engine that it has as well as the brake setup are similar.
