Yea, our track is small.. the straight is only about 60ft long.

These type of threads realy dont get a straight answer. Mainly b/c different people like different things. And different people experienced different things. I for one have had only good luck with OS engines.

i have the os 21 vg in my revo and its fast and i have not had a problem out of it

I agree with the guy talking about the "That engine is rubbish" brigade. Anyone can kill an engine.

All the named Engines are good and will last well if broken in with a little care and attention and then tuned well.

Saying that... A Novarossi lent to me after being broken in on a bench, then tuned by an expert decided to blow the conrod at WOT on a straight. Very random, but i am not going to call Novarossi engines bad, that would be silly.

By my experience... OS 21VG was my first engine and was great. Plenty of power for a begginer, lasted well over 7 Gallons. That's forgetting my first one which i wrecked the front bearing by using the wrong collet.

I broke in a GO engine to review for my sponsor and after the 3rd tank the glow plug dropped the element into the piston and wrecked the liner. I haven't had time to put a new piston and sleeve in so i can't comment.

Picco 3 port is pretty sweet as well for $75, i have one for small tight tracks when i want to get a 12 minute run before fuel.



My RB has been absolutely faithful, take a look at the WS7 LG. I think that is in the price range of the OS 21VG. RB are renowned for good reason on engine life and holding a tune.

I can't see you could make a bad choice here.
