I have a Multiplex Multi-charger (same as an Orion Avionics) that I use for everything. It will do all including single cell glow igniters to 12v starter box batteries and up to 4s lipo. Either the Multiplex or Orion are right around $65-$70, but you will need a power supply.

the pulsar 2.. it's not very cheap.(150 bucks) but will do all but lipo, and you will need a power supply. i don't have one but a fellow racer i hang with has one and i think it's awsome.

This is a real cheap charger. And it will serve your purposes well one of my friends had it and it works good and it is still a peak charger which is what you need.

Default cheap charger but really good

If ur looking for a cheap charger but something that will do everthing for u check this out a flyier friend showed me his and I had mine for over a year and I charge my li-po's for 1/10 scale and receiver pack for my 1/8 and glow ignitor plus my radio and starter box gell cell, and it comes with comes with all the hook-ups and u can hook it to ur computer to set up charging memory's for up to 10 different style batt. I'm not to much into buying on-line but this little thing does it all and is only $69, I showed my LHS and she was going to call them today to see if she could get them for her store, just don't bid agaisnt someone this guy always has like 6 on ebay at a time u will get one for 69

I suggest a ICE or Triton. Covers all types of batteries and is programmable.

My buddy has a Piranha and it does seem slightly confusing(in depth)to setup compared to other chargers.

+1 I have this charger and it rocks. I have it set to do my RX pack, TX pack, starter box battery, and glow ignitor. Maybe a LITTLE confusing to set up at first, but not difficult.

The only downside (for some folks) is I don't think it will do Lipos. No big deal, I don't run Lipos!

since you know how to use it... i have this battery: http://www.carolinasrc.com/webstore/...idproduct=6095

what numbers am i supposed to have on the charger?

i put it at 1600 mah (obviously)

but theres the "A" number which i cant figure out, so i put it on 1.0

and theres another number which i cant remember, and have no clue as to what its supposed to be on.

i have a feeling im not charging my batteries properly
