Default best motor for revo advice..

hey guys,

ok i have a revo 3.3 have not used it like in a year so im building it back up my motor is pretty much done for well maybe..ill try to get it running..

my question is whats a good reliable motor to drop in the 3.3 motor mount with no modding the mount it self..? also that would fit my header whice im using a TSAIS DUAL exhaust ..

The O.S .18 is a great drop in motor, and you can get it in a Turbo if you choose.

the 18tm was a great drop in mill for the revo but has been discontinued by os. they replaced it w/ .21tm. that is your best bet for the revo imo. little pricey right now as its really new but not too mant other choices for a drop in setup. otherwise a 3.3 is the cheaper alternative

ok I'm looking at ofna picco 26. With pull start and the motor mount will this work well?

If so will I have to upgrade my gears form the power of this motor or the stock gears will Handel this motor ?

Also putting the clucth/gears/bolts from the 3.3 motor to the picco 26. is that a simple bolt on or I have to buy new part to fit it. And I do have to get a new headers/exhaust my tsais won't work right?...
.this is my first time swapping a motor...

Thanks

I think the best way to go in the long run
would be the O.S. .21TM. You will end up
with a motor that is easy to tune and will
hold a tune. Also it will give you less problems
and if you take your time breaking it in,it will
last you a long time. Save yourself up a
little more money and shop around.
