Default New here, thinking about an RC8 RTR...

Hi all, been lurking these forums for a few days. Finally decided it was probably the best place to get info. Anyway, I have a question for people that have experience with the RC8 RTR.

Will the stock .28 work on a bump box? I already have one and I would like to use it if I got the RTR. But I know with the Losi it can't be used on a bump box because the engine sits to high. Is the RC8 RTR like this at all?

The RC8 is not like the losi, it will work with a bump box fine. I would recommend the Pro Kit though. It's a much better setup overall even down to the wheel nuts: the pro kit comes with teflon ringed lockers, the rtr comes with standard [love to fly off] wheel nuts.

Actually, I plan on upgrading the wheel nuts, radio tray, center brace and front top plate. That is still more cost effective than getting the FT, engine and a servo.

What else would need to be upgraded on the RTR?
