Default Ballistic Batteries Reciever Pack

I recently purchased a Ballistic Batteries 2700mah reciever pack, but I do not know what the charge rate is. Its the AA style pack. Im also wondering what the run time it will have with 2 digital Ace servos, and a Spektrum reciever for my M8 remote.

Thanks

hrmm......I used to run "build AA packs"....energiser's or duracells...and i would'nt have a issue running for an hour or 2 with Dual Ace's....i ended up going lipo for the "never have to worry in a day" but ya....u should still be peaking ur batt before the mains.

thanks, just need to know what I should be charging this pack at. If I go LiPO (which will be later on) isnt there a reducer to keep voltage at a regular limit? Since most servos and recievers cant handle that juice.

1.5amps will get it done, it should last well over an hour

ballistic also sells lipos, and has a very nice charger coming out as well

with 2 Digi hi torq servo's u would be hardpressed to get 2 Full days out of a single charge..never mind 2 full weekends........and depends on how much u run....are u running a bunch of quali's and Main's....cuz 99% of racer's wont take the chance and will repeak it before the Mains...runnig a pack that low isnt very good for it either.

No more than 1 amp on the charge, .5 would be better if your charger will do it.

Thanks guys for the advice on this, however I charged the pack and Im unable to get beyond 1500mah with this pack.....The charger Im using is a older LRP Pulsar Competition 1, now Ive got it set at 1amp but what does the Delta Peak need set at? since it ranges at 5-95mv....Ive had it set at 5mv.....but it doesnt even heat the pack up..and I cant get but 3 hours on a charge.....I doubt the pack is bad....Im just missing something. Knowing that Nimh cells need set at Linear to charge correctly..but what does the delta peak need set at???????

thanks in advance!

Thanks, In case anyone else happens along this same issue (not likely...but hey its here from free)

I charged the pack with the LRP Pulsar Competition charger....

Charge: 1.0amp
Delta Peak: 15mv
set to Linear

results went to 2604mah with very little heat (enough to tell that it was there)

figuring this small adjustment made the battery go from 1500mah to 2604mah
I will be trying 16-20mv(delta peek) next time...to see if I can finally achieve 2700mah
