Couldn't agree with you more!

One particular engine we mod, I've heard guys getting 10 minutes easily. Another guy gets what I get, around 8.5 minutes. The guys that are getting 10 minutes I noticed are on-road guys that seem to be very smooth on the throttle and smooth around the track...

There's dozens of variables that play into the runtime external of the engine...driver has a ton to do with it

I've got well over 10 mins on a 50+sec/lap open tracks all over the country with my Vspec...and thats at a good tune, not leaning it to meltdown. There's no 'miracle' engine, never has been, never will be. Practice tuning with a bit leaner bottom than most, a low idle and you'll find your not at WOT nearly as much as running a rich bottom / lean top like most everyone runs.

Do the MRTuned Ninjas have an epoxy'd crank?

I have bought, modified and contune to run Ninja engines... I also have the same FLS 2053 pipe........ very very good engines !

From the picture links posted above, it appears that the new GRP engines are really the MRT Ninjas with a different head and color scheme (and a lower price!). The decals are even the same from the MRT Ninja. They should be killer engines...

Yannick ran a 5.5mm restrictor, most of the top guys were going way down on restrictors because the track was very loose during buggy qualifying and huge power just made for a lot of wheelspin and slower lap times.

I think the first Ninja sleeves didn't have any angled cut ports. I remember looking at mine when I had it apart, it it looked like just plain port cuts, no angled in cuts from the bottom. I also remember someone stating Jim at fusion said they were pretty rough cut also. Maybe the new sleeves have more work done on the ports.

I have an original NIB .21 and .28 .... I will do a photoshoot on them very soon...both my mills are are the non tuned version.....they do not have the "modded" sleeve........the MR tuned Ninja's had the angled cuts, not the standard NInja............. I certainly wouldn't pay an extra $100.00 for MR treatment..I do much nicer work myself LOL !

You know what, this engine would match my new paint job, reason enough to buy it!
