$420 for the motor, pipe, shirt and hat. This pre-pay
deal was offered on another site by an online store
that advertises on the site. The short time offer
was for members of the site only. I already have
.21 and .28 Ninja motors so I let the deal slide.

Interesting all the above point of views, but ...

We all know about advertising, about great drivers and what they are able to do, the real question is how is the product going to perform in our hands?

Only time will tell.

Cota, I think you speak some truth man.
Most of them are flavor of the day people.
Pros in a box, in a month most will be bad
mouthing GRP motors to cover there lack
of driving. Blame it on the car, motor, tires,
fuel,clutch set-up...............
Cry me a river!!!

Ouch! And that's just for an off-the-shelf mill that's likely 98% identical to a Ninja that's easily $100 less. For what you can spend on the GRP unit, you can get your Ninja custom race-tuned.

engine prices are getting way to expensive. Im runnning a collari 3 port engine in my 8b , thing screams faster than my vspec. I dont think I will ever spend over 300.00 on a engine again

I sure hope these engines aren't $400.00..... I own the GRP Ninja 28 and FLS pipe already...but I would not pay any more then I paid for my Ninja...... the MR tuned versions would be very mildly touched and not worth the $100.00 premium.....

I agree with the expensive part. It's hard for me to buy an engine that almost costs as much as my buggy. I'd just kick myself even harder in the A$$ if I blew it up.

I just ordered me the .21 tuned promo kit, i reakon its very well priced, set me back $550AUD landed, which would be the same price as if i bought another boss engine (what ive been running) and a new fls pipe, so im getting the goodies it comes with free. Ive run the grp boss for the past yr and they are better than anything else ive tried lately, especially when it comes to QC, no doubt these new grp's will be the same.

its $420 if you know how to shop, and $420 is great for a top of the line motor with the proper pipe and manifold included. The 367 set me back $450 when i got it and thats without the manifold. A OS Speed motor is $430 without a pipe, add the 2060 pipe and its $560. Also i hear theyre releasing a sport version of the motor for those that dont want to pay the extra bucks for the race version.

For all of you who haven't seen inside on one of these GRP engines yet, here, compare it your Ninja. I already dumped mine, so I can't tell.

I do think its been reworked or finessed. I do remember looking at the Ninja sleeve when I had mine. It looked rough compared to this sleeve.

Just a Ninja !!! the only thing that may be different is timings, but most likely they are the same...

???????????????????? Ninja's don't have a expoxy'd crank. I'm not defending the GRP cause I don't even know if I'm going to buy one but there clearly not the same as a Ninja.

hey, it maybe JUST a Ninja ........ But i like it. Needed a new motor and it fitted the bill. Came with a pipe etc in the box and i couldn't knock the price. It was easy to do the running in, tuned pretty easy although im still rich as just finished the first meet with it. It's as fast as anything else on the track and i was able to do 7min fuel stops with it rich. Didn't have any issue's with flame outs or it cutting out on me !! what more do ya want ?? I'm sure Ninja's are just the same ................
