Default rc pro rules on a revo

ok i am not sure on the rc pro series rules but as i read them it states that a revo with a center diff is classafied as a truggy correct ....
then i ask how can traxxas say that the revo is a rcpro m/t champion when every set up of the guys running it are running a center diff .....
also the new platnum revo comes with a center diff are the rules different from state to state ????????
sorry if i seem too be asking a dumb question but just thought i would ask
here im sure i will get the answers here thanks .....

its not a true center diff. it is part if a 2 speed transmission still. they dont want a stand alone center diff like an 1/8th scale. you must keep the 2 speed tranmission.

not sure what rules you read...

Transmission - - Must be multi speed gear reduction. Diffs inside the transmission are allowed only. Front and rear brakes allowed.
