Yea they are OK for 'bashing', I have seen some race and they get left in the dust.

The rtr will will be a disappointment like most most rtr's are .The ss is a better built with the lightened chassis and all

Tons of aftermarket for the hellfire so decide wisely. It needs tlc to be a hard core basher

Check out the hellfire forum here at rc tech

Exclamation yes, and no

if you want a basher, go with a savage. if you want a racer by HPI, go with the hellfire, put a different motor in it, and it will race just fine. yes. they get left in the dust, but the origional motor is shit. if you want it to be fast, put a different motor in it, and you'll be fine. mine has a ofna .26 motor and it does just fine. im going to be buying carbon fiber upper chassis and that will lighten it up. no the RTR is not that great, but it can be.
