Default OCM Truggy

Hey, I live here in sunny California and I was wondering what kind of parts support will be available once this truck comes out? Will A-main have everything I need including upgrades? Speaking of upgrades, what will be available? I am excited about the release.

Amain will have everything you need. It may take a few weeks after they first hit the shelves for them to get a good stock of spare parts...but they will have it all.

Option parts are....alum. rear uprights, alum center diff mount, I'm not sure if we have a hard coated chassis for the truck yet, I think we have some light weight pillow ballt coming out as well.

Ok guys...got the report on Team OCM from the motorama race up in PA.
We had four guys in attendance. I think the pro buggy class has 130
entries and pro truggy was more like 110.

Mike Battaile in his first race with the OCM is 14th overall. He had a
solid run, and was working on another fast pace and his fuel line was
torn and he ran short on fuel. He said car is perfect and told me he
honestly did not have one s ingle complaint of the car, he was very
impressed

David Lindbert is solid in the show in 10th place and is looking
forward to the mains. From what I was told his buggy has looked near
perfect from practice on, it should since we came from a super rough
track just weeks ago!

I would also like to add David put our new truggy into the Truggy
amain as well!

Laquan Alexander and Bob Duncan are both in the top 5o and fill good
about the cars. This to is Laquans first outing after coming from the
losi. He admits it's just a different style than the losi and needs to
be pushed

I'll post when I found out about the results. Barring breakage in the
cold weather or a flameout I truly look for Mike to bump into the main
and compete up front. His laptimes were on point and his best times
were only 8 seconds of the fastest guys.

Good luck guys!

Well guys,

I have mixed news. I am happy to say Mike Battaile bumped into the
amain at motorama in only his first race with the car. He then on the
first lap went from 14th - 5th and then got into the lead and battled
with chad Phillips maintaining the lead for almost 20 minutes. He had
some issues that popped up and took him out at 25 minutes while
leading. I will find out and report back

It may have been a broken rear cvd pin.....

man! lol...

Taztal,

They (Alan Burton and Mikey Sharwin) will be racing at the nitro pit, in Arizona. This is the track's web site : http://www.thenitropit.com/

The event is called the Nitro Challenge and here is an event flyer:
http://thenitropit.com/uploads/thedirtnitro2007web.pdf

You (and me) can follow the qualifying and race results that will be broadcast live on www.liverc.com during the event.

Good luck, guys!

I feel better, talked with Mike. He said car went through all of
practice, quali's, and a 30 minute main and was perfect. For some
reason the schedule was flipped to adjust for something and gave Mike
only 30 minutes from the 30 minute bmain to his 45 min amain. So he
did not have a chance to go over the rig and it bit him. he has not
had a chance to check but I think his rear cvd set screw came loose

Couple high points he was happy about...

bumped from b and won that by a very nice margin, started 14th in
amain and first lap was in 5th....20 minutes in he had a 22 second
lead on the field. Not bad for the very first run on the ride.

Good job to all of the guys!
