After the post by COBRARACING , I felt i had to reply by saying BS
You will never get to the same Quality of Kyosho cars all you know is how
to take a good product and copy it . you dont invest in R&D you dont invest in
drivers , and thats why your products are cheap besides its lesser quality .

Im not even talking about other cars that like someone said here wear down
much faster then Kyosho .

You guys are like leechers and to come to this thread knowingly to promote your products and hurt Kyosho name is a new low ,

I give mad props to Kyosho and kyosho Americas Staff for their hard work
and dedication , these are true values .

If you want Quality buy Kyosho if you want cheap Chinese junk buy other brands.

I am not related to Kyosho America

That's quite a comment. Just make sure you have all your facts correct as not every Kyosho part is made in Japan.

oh dont get me wrong, im not trying to bash kyosho products, their quality is top knotch! but dont think for a minute that they are the only ones capable of doing that. if they were sooooo great, everyone would have them and the rest wouldnt be out... the 1/8 market is diversified for different styles/tastes... so believe it or not, kyosho is not the be all end all product that you make it out to be.

and no one uses the nanda here really, thats not what i was getting at so dont try and go there. i was just making a point that kyosho isnt THE only car made quality..

So are you saying that they're chinese made parts? This I would love to hear!
You can tell the difference between chinese metal/plastics and japanese parts. They don't look the same.

Red face Wow........

You have got to be kidding...... You can see the difference in plastic from just down the street regardless of where you are. I have seen plastic from China that some guys literally put their life on the line with. It works perfect. I have also seen crap from Japan and the US.

On the real subject. For RC Racing, the Kyosho plastic is as good as it gets in off road and Xray is as good as it gets for onroad. In both cases it does not matter where it is made at.
Gil Losi Jr. knows more about plastic than just about anyone you could ask. His training and education is in plastics.

FYI - I run the Losi car and the plastics only have issue in bending a retaining memory. They have tweaked this to fix it. The slop comes from poor design of the servo saver. Yes...I said that. I'm a product designer myself so I have the right.

I ran the Kyosho plastics and they are bomb proof for their 1/8 cars. I can't deny that they will go two seasons no problem. With the Losi, they get new arms each season. Breakage?? None in either case. The Losi rod ends would develop a little slop but it is good on the track. $5 every 6 months or half season and you will be fine.

I look forward to what Gil brings to the table in this regard.

Product design is one thing. Once corporate finds a cheaper way, they will sacrifice quality in some parts. They make money on selling parts, so it will never be bomb from coming from China.
Find plastic that came from China thats good, and its because they have either reformulated it till it works, or they got the composition of which to make it from. There isn't that much chemical technology going on there, you have to bring or show it to them. My friend found this out when he went there for marine production parts.
